How much do I pay to drive into the Congestion Relief Zone?

The amount you will be charged by the tolling authority for driving in the Congestion Relief Zone varies based on several factors:

  • Type of Vehicle: Different rates apply depending on whether you are driving a car, truck, motorcycle, or another type of vehicle.
  • Time of Day: Toll rates can vary depending on the time of day, with peak hours typically having higher rates compared to off-peak hours.
  • Discounts and Exemptions: Certain vehicles or drivers may qualify for discounts or exemptions, such as those for emergency vehicles, residents, or low-income drivers.
  • MTA Crossing Credits: If you have already paid a toll for crossing a bridge or tunnel into the Congestion Relief Zone, you may be eligible to receive a credit that reduces the overall congestion pricing toll. *Please note, NextPass customers will receive the crossing credit in the form of a refund back to their original form of payment.
